Good experience, room for improvement
I booked an all-inclusive eco-lodge stay at Refugio Amazonas last month. The wildlife spotting tours were fantastic, and our guide was very knowledgeable, pointing out several rare birds. The river cruise was also a highlight. However, I found the booking process on their website a little clunky; it took a few tries to get my dates right. Also, while the food was good, I would have liked more variety, especially for longer stays. Overall, a solid trip, but a smoother booking system would be a nice upgrade.
Amazing jungle adventure!
My trip to Tambopata Research Center was absolutely incredible! The macaw clay lick tour was mind-blowing – so many colorful birds! I also loved the night walks; saw so much cool stuff. The staff were super friendly and really made the experience special. I'm already planning my next trip back to try Posada Amazonas. Will definitely tell all my friends to check this place out! It was an adventure of a lifetime!
Great trip, easy booking
Booked a jungle expedition. Everything was included. Transfer was smooth from Puerto Maldonado. Saw lots of monkeys. Had a good time. Would use again.
Had a really nice time
Went for a family rainforest tour, stayed at Posada Amazonas. It was pretty chill. The kids loved the canopy tower tour, and we even saw some giant river otters which was awesome. The lodge was comfy enough, and they had good activities. Packing advice they gave was spot on, glad I followed it. Felt safe and well taken care of the whole time. Definitely a good spot for a family vacation.

This was my third time with Rainforest Expeditions, and they're always dependable. I've stayed at Refugio Amazonas and now tried the Amazon Villa. The quality of the guides, like for the birdwatching tours, remains consistently high across all locations. My first trip had a minor delay with the boat transfer, but this time everything was perfectly on schedule.
